Kasanka National Park is located in the south of the Bangweulu wetlands in Serenje district in central province in Zambia. It is the smallest national park and a rich sanctuary of wildlife, birdlife, flora and fauna.

The South Luangwa National park is one of the greatest sanctuaries of wildlife in the world. The Thornicroft Giraffe is one of the nine subspecies and is endemic to the Park making it the only place you can see this type of Giraffe
